Having two boys gave Lisa many opportunities to volunteer in their schools and the community. Whenever she could Lisa volunteered in their classrooms and media centers, spruced up school gardens, attended field trips, and served as a PTA Environmental Education Chair and as a Green Team Leader (this is where Denise and Lisa teamed up). Lisa also enjoyed serving as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader. Overlapping with school and scouts came Keep Forsyth County Beautiful and Reaping Nature Educational Outreach Foundation (now the Teacher Reuse Exchange). When not at the Teacher Reuse Exchange sorting through donations, stocking shelves, displaying holiday and themed decor, and helping teachers shop, Lisa loves reading, gardening and watching the Braves.
